Pulling it all together...

In math and pre-algebra we pulled together several skills that we have been working on throughout the year. It was a great review for everyone! We multiplied and divided fractions, changed fractions to decimals, changed decimals to percents and vice versa, and solved equations.

In math we prepared for tomorrow's test. It will cover sections 7.1-7.4. We did page 310 in class, and I gave them some Extra Practice problems for extra credit. These are found on pages 580 and 581. To receive an extra stamp, you should do 5 questions of your choice from 7.1 through 7.4. This is due tomorrow with the rest of the work from this chapter. The test will be pretty short, and we will go over Monday's test when everyone is finished.

Pre-algebra classes learned how to solve percent problems using an equation. If you remember that of means to multiplty and is means equals, it is very easy to set up. Tonight's homework is pp. 301-302, #12-40 even, 44, 45, 49-52, 55.
